A tasty Easter cake
It is preparing in various regions of Poland for Easter yeast babyor sand. Easter cake you have to do it yourself. It is true that you can also buy them in the store, but it's not the same anymore. It's easy to prepare, therefore if we do not decide to bake other cakes, be sure to try to do at least sand cake. A homemade cake should be placed in an Easter basket, thanks to which it will gain additional aesthetic value.
1 a glass of sugar
0,5 glasses of potato flour
1 a glass of wheat flour
1 margarine or butter
3 spoons of cocoa
Delicacies - sliced hazelnuts, raisins
1,5 teaspoons of baking powder
Bread crumbs and fat until mold
Ingredients for the icing:
1,5 glasses of powdered sugar
1 arak oil
3 tablespoons of hot water
First, melt the margarine or butter. Then we separate the proteins from the yolks. Combine the wheat flour with the baking powder, vanilla sugar and melted fat. Beat the egg whites with the mixer z 0,5 a glass of sugar, until the combined ingredients have a creamy color. To this we add one yolk, still whipping. Gradually pour the flour, fat and powder into the resulting mass, then we mix, until we obtain a uniform consistency. At the end, add the potato flour. 1/3 Put the mass obtained in another bowl - add cocoa to it, stirring until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
We prepare a cake mold, which we smear with a little fat (e.g.. margarine or oil), sprinkle with a little breadcrumbs. We preheat the oven to 190 degrees.
Pour half of the light mass into the mold, then the cocoa mass and the other half of the light brown mass. Put the dough in the oven and bake it for approx. for one hour.
After baking, take the cake out of the mold. Pour the icing over the cooled sand cake.
For a clay vessel (makutry) pour in powdered sugar. Then pour the water and arak oil. We rub it all in a few minutes, so that there are no lumps.
